Girl, I put this shit on everything! This Cilantro Lime Sauce is not only delicious and versatile, but it is also easy to make. You’re gonna want to make this all the time! You can throw it on Tacos, use it as a salad dressing, or drizzle it over grilled fish, chicken, steak…etc. It’s gonna be your bestie, trust me!

I am a huge fan of cilantro, so when I made tacos a few weeks ago, I whipped up this sauce and it was an instant hit. After tweaking the recipe a few times, it’s time to share it with my besties! The sauce is creamy and tasty as hell. You can truly put this on ANYTHING!
What you need to make Cilantro Lime Sauce

- Cilantro – I mean, it is the star of the show so you don’t want to skip this ingredient.
- Greek Yogurt – Adds creaminess to the sauce. You can also use regular whole milk or coconut yogurt if you want a dairy-free option.
- Kewpie mayo – Adds more rich creaminess to the sauce. You can use regular mayo or sub for a vegan mayo if you want a dairy-free option.
- Sour Cream – Adds more creaminess but balances out the rich flavor of the mayo. You can certainly sub in dairy-free sour cream as well.
- Olive oil – Thins out the sauce and adds rich flavor.
- Garlic – you need fresh garlic in any dressing or sauce you’re making. There is no argument.
- Lime Juice – make sure you’re using freshly squeezed lime juice. Cilantro and fresh lime juice are just a match made in heaven, so make sure you’re not using that stuff in the bottle. Use fresh lime juice.
- Jalapeño – Adds a little kick to the sauce. It’s not spicy at all just adds a nice kick. Trust me.
- Honey – cuts through all the acidity and adds a touch of sweetness
- Ranch seasoning – I like Balanced Bites ranch seasoning because it’s very clean with minimal ingredients. But, you can also make your own. Check the recipe card for the details.

So I know I keep saying you can put this sauce on everything, and I mean that! But you can certainly start by serving it alongside some of our favorite recipes:

- Grilled Harissa Shrimp Skewers – flavor on flavor! It’s the perfect dip go these shrimp skewers.
- Chili Garlic Wings – dip those wings in this sauce and live your best life!
- Blackened Salmon Tacos – these tacos are the reason this sauce exists, so you have to make it!

-
1/4
cup greek yogurt
-
1/4
cup kewpie mayo
-
1/4

Instructions
- To begin, add the first 7 ingredients to a food processor. Pulse for a few seconds then let the machine run on high for about 30 seconds or until the ingredients are all finely chopped.
- Add the yogurt, mayo, and sour cream and continue to pulse until everything is well combined and the sauce is creamy.
- Stir and taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning accordingly. You may need to add a little more lime or a pinch of sea salt. Transfer the sauce to a jar with a tight lid and chill before serving (don't skip this step).
- Your Cilantro Lime Sauce will last in the fridge for a week.
The sauce will thicken up in the fridge so you can use milk to thin it out if it's too thick for your liking.
