What you need to make Sweet & Salty Popcorn

- Popped Popcorn – You can do this from scratch or buy a box of buttered popcorn and pop it according to the package instructions
- Chex cereal – I used a combination of corn and rice Chex cereal. However, this is completely up to you. Use any cereal you have on hand or a combination of your favorites.
- Nuts and Seeds – I used cashews, almonds, and pumpkin seeds. But again, this is completely customizable. Use an assortment according to your taste buds or allergy needs.
- The Glaze – a very simple glaze made with brown sugar, maple syrup, butter, vanilla extract, and baking soda.
Now, with many of my recipes, you’ll love this one because it is so customizable. You can use whatever nuts or cereals you want. Start with the popcorn as the base; the rest is for you to have fun with. Everyone will love this one, especially the kids. So grab their favorite cereals and let them help you make this sweet and salty treat.
