My love affair with salmon has come full circle with this recipe. This Garlic Herb Salmon is delicious, super easy to make and requires little to no cleanup time. This is the kind of recipe everyone will think you spent hours trying to perfect. But, they don’t know you spent less time cooking and more time working on that outfit!
I’ve learned a lot about cooking salmon over the years. The most common mistake everyone makes is overcooking it. So, whether you are grilling, pan searing, or roasting a piece of salmon, it is best to leave the skin on. The skin acts as a protective layer between the fish and the heat. Therefore, preventing overcooking. And, its HELLA delicious!
Garlic herb salmon Is incredible because the marinade Is the star of the show.. All the components work so well together and what’s better than lemon and garlic right? Now I say that to encourage you to get creative. You can use whatever flavor profile you like.
I have also used mint and thyme In the herb sauce to switch things up. So don’t shy away from experimenting with different flavors to make this dish your own.

Now, I decided to use a parchment bag for this particular recipe not only because it provides non-stick properties, but parchment locks in all the flavors and allows the fish to retain moisture.
If you have been looking for a go-to salmon recipe, give this one a try and I promise you won’t be disappointed. Pairs perfectly with our Cauliflower Rice or Vegan Quinoa Fried Rice.
